PyneComp v6.0.77 — More Pine v3, v4 and v5 scripts now convert to v6 and compile cleanly.

Fixes

  • A switch branch whose call or [...] tuple was split over several lines, with blank lines or comments in between, no longer produces broken code.
  • A declaration split after its type (color on one line, myColor = na on the next) is now joined correctly.
  • Several imports on one line separated by commas (import A/x/3 as a, import B/y/1 as b) are now split onto separate lines.
  • A multi-line array.from(...) with a comment after each element no longer produces doubled commas.
  • A function ending in a tuple declaration with _ placeholders ([m, _, _] = ta.macd(...)) now converts to code that compiles.
  • A bool variable later assigned a number (isLong = false, then isLong := 0) now converts correctly.
  • A function parameter with a now-reserved name (such as range) is renamed everywhere in the function, even after a comment at the start of a line.
  • A comment that quotes another version pragma (// changed //@version=5 to //@version=6) no longer makes the script fail with “Empty document.”

Features

  • When a tuple declaration has the wrong number of variables, the error now says how to fix it: which extra variables to remove, or that every value needs a name, with _ for the ones you skip.
