PyneComp v6.0.79 — scripts with type or argument mistakes now get the same compile errors…

Fixes

  • Mixing incompatible types in an expression ("a" * 2, "a" > "b", not 1.5), a non-bool if/while condition, or a typed declaration with the wrong literal (float f = "a") is now reported as a compile error instead of being accepted
  • A function call with a missing required argument (e.g. plot(ta.sma(close))), too many arguments, or an unknown or duplicate named argument is now reported as a compile error, for both built-in and your own functions
  • Variables or parameters named series, simple or const work again in expressions like series and not series[1]
  • An if, loop, switch or function body without indentation now gets an error saying an indented block is missing, instead of “Unexpected start of line”
  • Old v1–v3 scripts that unpack more tuple names than a function returns, or call linebreak() with a source argument, now convert instead of failing
