PyneCore v6.12.0 released — the transform pipeline now runs in Rust, and math.sum /…

Features

  • Every AST transform step has a native Rust port that produces the same tree as the Python step, shipped in the platform wheels
  • PYNE_AST_BACKEND selects native (default), python or verify; without the extension everything runs in Python as before
  • Imported modules are no longer executed at compile time

Performance

  • The whole transform over 1065 real-world scripts: 40.5 s native vs 98.0 s in Python (first run and the run after an edit)

Fixes

  • math.sum / ta.sma follow TradingView’s new compensated rolling sum, validated bit for bit on 396045 bars
  • ta.cog and ta.sar match TradingView’s computation
  • request.security with lookahead_on takes closed bars from the context’s own data (#100)
  • request.security contexts in libraries no longer run or merge with the script’s contexts
  • Constant Pine int expressions fold as doubles, like on TradingView
