🎉 Pine Script v5 support is here

PyneComp now compiles Pine Script v5 scripts directly. No manual migration to v6 needed on your end.

Under the hood, your v5 source goes through an internal v5→v6 converter before compilation. We built this to closely match TradingView’s own converter behavior, and validated it against ~800 real-world scripts plus a much larger set of synthetic test cases. So far I haven’t personally run into a script it couldn’t convert.

That said, just like TradingView’s built-in converter, there could theoretically be edge cases where a fully automatic conversion isn’t possible. If you hit one, some manual adjustment might be needed
